Matt Holliday (OF | Cardinals) – Holliday has been on my list for the past two days and he’s here again as the Cardinals and Rockies finish their three game series in Colorado. Holliday gets to take his batting practice today against Christian Friedrich.

Albert Pujols (1B | Angels) – Pujols and Ryan Dempster go way back to their days in the National League…which really isn’t that long ago. Dempster is making his first start for the Rangers and will have his hands full with the Angels’ offense in Arlington. Pujols is 18 of 55 (.327 avg) against Dempster with 4 doubles, 7 homeruns, and 14 RBIs. He’s walked 11 times and struck out twice against Dempster over the years.

Jose Reyes (SS | Marlins) – Reyes has an 18 game hitting streak going all the way back to July 8th. He also has 5 steals over that period of time and is always a threat on the base paths. Reyes will face Mike Minor of the Atlanta Braves today. He’s 5 of 13 (.385 avg) against Minor with 1 triple and 1 homerun.

Adrian Beltre (3B | Rangers) vs. C.J. Wilson: 9 of 26 with 3 doubles, 1 homerun, and 4 RBIs
