Risingstar won the third FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Championship (DFBC) qualifier last Friday with a high score of 67.58. FanDuel's DFBC will pay out over $250,000 in cash and the final event will be held live on July 28th in Las Vegas at the Palazzo.  The final event will be held live in Las Vegas at the Palazzo on July 28, 2012. First place in the 2012 FanDuel DFBC takes home $100,000! To win the top prize risingstar will have to outscore the other 14 qualifiers. At a minimum, risingstar will win $1,500 (in addition to an all expenses paid trip to Vegas for two).

Risingstar's team was led by Chris Sale's 19.33 point performance. He also got 16.75 points from Adam Dunn.  If risingstar wasn't a White Sox fan before Friday, he is now!  A quick look at risingstar's FanDuel profile shows that he's more of a fantasy football player ($3.9K) than baseball ($1). That might change now though based on his DFBC success!
