FanDuel DFBC Week 5 Qualifier Recap

According to the Fanduel website the five teams tied for first place will play in a one day contest to decide who wins the trip to Vegas and chance to compete for the $100,000 first place prize. The 2nd through 5th place teams will win the runner-up prizes. Here is the exact wording from the FanDuel site:

"In the event of a tie for any position other than first place in a weekly qualifier, the tied participants will split the prize or prizes that they tied for. In the event of a tie for first place in a weekly qualifier, the tied participants will be play a one day contest (schedule and rules to be provided by FanDuel) to determine which tied participant will qualify for the final and which will instead receive runner-up prizes. All ties in the final will result in split prizes."

The five teams all had David Price as their SP and were rewarded handsomely with 24 points. Price dominated Oakland going 8 innings with 12 Ks. The rest of their lineup was an Atlanta stack (against the Rockies in Colorado) with Jhonny Peralta as their shortstop. This is the second straight week a stacked lineup playing in Colorado has finished atop the leaderboard.
