The first 10 seats of the DraftStreet DSBC had been filled. On Sunday May 20th, the 3^rd $11 Qualifier was set to send an 11th to the dance. While the 2nd ($11) qualifier filled and the 1st ($11) one missed by a handful, this one only amassed 445 contestants, leaving a large $550 overlay.

Tim Lincecum (29%) and Bartolo Colon (25%) facing off against each other was a contest of particular interest to many qualifier participants on that day. Pitching selections otherwise seemed to be rather well spread out.

The big bats of Miguel Cabrera (35%), Prince Fielder (33%), and Ryan Braun (33%) were heavily owned and although Braun rewarded takers with 14 points, it was a Brewer teammate that had the biggest performance of the day. Jonathan Lucroy (11%) and the Milwaukee lineup in general were DFB stars as he put up 24 points and the Beermakers pushed 16 runs across the board against the Twins.

At 6pm ET, there were 7 teams above 90 points and each of them had at least 5 Brewers in the lineup. Don’t blame the stackers, blame Jason Marquis, who has since been released. Going into the Sunday night game, there was little drama this time around. WahooWarrior (108.9 pts) with 7 Milwaukee batters, backed up by Colby Lewis (10.9 pts), Zack Greinke (9.2 pts), and Bartolo Colon (7.15 pts) on the mound held a 10.4 point lead on the 2^nd place competitor and a 14.05 point lead on the closest player with remaining innings still left to play. Only a huge game from Carlos Beltran for ho1217 (94.85 pts) or a big game from Kyle Lohse with a save for Jason Motte for DidoTyme (93.45 pts) could put the game in doubt. None of that happened and WahooWarrior coasted to the victory.

ReUPSports.com founder, Anonymoose, impressively cashed in his 2nd $11 qualifier, this time coming even closer, finishing 6th. He’s already promised all the writers significant raises.

Congratulations to Wahoo Warrior for becoming the 11^th player to qualify for the Draftstreet Baseball Championship! Since then, rickmilitar, ronnymor2, and pbarrese13 have claimed seats as well, bringing the total number of qualifiers to 14. The 4^th $11 qualifier, awarding the 15^th seat takes place Tuesday night.
