Over the weekend Daily Joust rolled out some awesome updates to their website. The updates are geared toward making your daily fantasy sports experience more enjoyable and putting as many analytical tools at your finger tips as possible. Daily Joust is constantly pushing the DFS envelope and improving their user interface. This round of updates is no different. We plan on doing a comprehensive review of all the new features (and updating our site review) this coming weekend, but for now here's our first impression!

The new lobby has the same look and feel as their old lobby which makes it easy to use and navigate. The first thing that I noticed was the ability to easily sort the Daily Fantasy Sports contests by sport, salary cap, start time, entrants, and entry fee. You could sort contests in the old lobby, but not as easily. This is a nice upgrade and makes finding the desired contest a lot easier!

Daily Joust also made it easier to identify which badges you could win in each contest. The badge system on Daily Joust is a great feature and rewards loyal 'Jousters' for playing on the site. Daily Joust has monthly freerolls for users that accumulate a specified number of badges.

The lobby also includes an announcement board where Daily Joust posts regular updates on their ongoing Solo Survivor Tournaments, upcoming promotions, and contest start times. It's great for getting the inside scoop without having to click out of their lobby. 

In the lobby there's also a link to Projected MLB starting lineups. The MLB starting lineups include player salaries on Daily Joust, so you can easily create and manage your daily fantasy baseball rosters without jumping from site to site! Looking for a 3B under $70K that's starting? Just click on the projected starting lineups link and scroll through the teams. Problem solved!

Daily Joust gives you access to all the data you need to build your fantasy baseball teams. When you're building your team you can hover over players to see the opposing pitcher, get BvP information, check potential weather issues, or you can click on their name to view their profile.

In the player profile you can get the most recent news, injury updates, and player data. Daily Joust even added a graph feature that lets you chart the player's performance based on the categories you pick. The graph allows you to easily spot trends, add and subtract fields, and make informed decisions. 

I played in a few Solo and All-Star Promo GPP contests over the weekend and really liked the updated features. There are a few more updates that I haven't covered yet, that'll I'll discuss later in the week.
