Mlbsyndicate won the tenth FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Championship (DFBC) qualifier on Friday June 8th with a high score of 74.5. Mlbsyndicate joined FanDuel on April 13th and has been racking up win after win since. In less than two months playing on FanDuel mlbsyndicate has won 126 daily fantasy baseball contests for a total of $13,262!

FanDuel's DFBC will pay out over $250,000 in cash prizes and the final event will be held live on July 28, 2012 in Las Vegas at the Palazzo. First place in the FanDuel DFBC will take home $100,000! To win the top prize mlbsyndicate will have to outscore the other fourteen qualifiers. At a minimum, he'll win $1,500 plus an all-expenses paid trip to Vegas. Based on his performance over the past two months he’s got to be one of the odds on favorites to take home the $100K.

Mlbsyndicate edged out the second place finisher, smoke_22, by 2 points. Smoke_22 had a solid lineup, but he’s got to be questioning his starting pitcher choice. He went with Brandon Beachy who only scored 9 points. If he went with one of the other top pitchers he probably would have won the qualifier.

Mlbsyndicate’s lineup featured Stephen Strasburg in his starting pitcher slot. Strasburg dominated the Red Sox in Boston and put up 22 points. His offensive attack was spearheaded by his three headed monster of an outfield. All three of his outfielders (Mike Trout, Torii Hunter, and Corey Hart) scored in the double digits. The rest of his offense managed to stay out of the red and pushed mlbsyndicate into the top spot.

Although mlbsyndicate is relatively new to FanDuel he has been playing extensively over the past two months and has to be considered one of the top players on the site based on his winnings. His victory in the 10th DFBC qualifier solidified his spot at the top and gives him a chance to take home the championship!
