It was a close finish as luckyretr barely held off one of the biggest names in daily fantasy sports; Beermakersfan came in second place with a solid score of 108. Close behind Beermakersfan and luckyretr were TShaw7, Cha-Cha, and jmbwngfn. All three are well known players in the daily fantasy industry and gave luckyretr a run for his money. There are still 5 spots up for grabs and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple of the runners up win one.

Luckyretr was the first Jouster to win a seat in the final event by stacking…although he deployed more of a semi-stacked lineup (as did most of the runner-ups). Luckyretr secured his spot thanks to the San Francisco Giants’ offense. The Giants were playing in Coors field, so you knew there were going to be a lot of runs scored. Especially when Jonathan Sanchez was taking the hill! Angel Pagan, Buster Posey, Ryan Theriot, and Melky Cabrera all scored in double digits as the Giants scored 16 runs against the Rockies. Luckyretr also got a solid start out of his starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez who got the Win against the Indians and put up 18 points on Daily Joust.
