What would happen if daily fantasy sports and season long fantasy leagues collided? You'll find out in a few weeks because Daily Joust recently rolled out their "Crusader" Fantasy Football Leagues. The Crusader leagues are a perfect mix of daily fantasy sports and season long fantasy sports. You're in a league with the same 11 opponents and the action lasts all season long, but you get to pick a new team every week similar to daily fantasy football!

Each Fantasy Football Crusader League on Daily Joust features a 12 man field with a $110 entry. The leagues last the entire NFL season and include a championship and consoliation playoff at the end to determine the winners. The Crusader Leagues have a $110 entry and $1,150 prize pool. $600 is awarded to the overall winner of each Crusader League. You can play in multiple Crusader Leagues, but only have one entry per league.

All 12 teams, in each Crusader league, get to draft a new team every week. Yes, there are finally season long fantasy football leagues where you don't have to worry about injuries to your top players ruining your entire season! Similar to all the contests on Daily Joust, you'll have a set salary cap each week that you must stay under when building your weekly lineup. The Crusader league contests will include all Sunday and Monday games for first fifteen weeks of the NFL season. Overall standing each week will be based on total cumulative points.

At the end of week 15, playoff and consolation bracket seeds will be based on the total number of points each team accumulated. The team with the highest total points after Week 15 will be the regular season champion, get the number one seed in the playoffs, and is guaranteed a spot in the Crusader Finals.

Week 16 Championship Matchup: #1 seed vs. Winner of #2/#3 Sem-Final Matchup

Consolation Round

Week 15 Consolation Semi-Finals: Seeds 7-12 play in a 6 man winner take all league. The winner advances to the Consolation Round Finals.

Week 16 Consolation Round Finals: Seeds #4, #5, #6 and the winner of the Consolation Round Semi-Finals play in a 4 man league to determine the Consolation Round winner.
